Beltug is the largest Belgian association of digital technology leaders. They target ICT managers, procurement managers, software asset managers, privacy officers, innovation directors, IT infrastructure managers, security officers, IT architects, and more… They focus on their priorities and needs, helping them to maximize the potential of digital technology.
Beltug aims to break down the barriers companies face when building their digital strategy, tackling the challenges of the connected organization and covering topics such as software asset management, hybrid IT, cyber security, IoT, smart collaboration, privacy, blockchain, data management, and many more.
Beltug takes your concerns seriously and acts upon them by talking to government and providers. Some of the issues we are currently working on include the implementation of the NIS directive, indoor coverage, GDPR, e-archiving, software licensing and cloud exit strategies.
They bring together peers on targeted topics. In their Privacy Council for instance, which provides a platform for practitioners in matters of privacy to make suggestions and recommendations to Beltug regarding issues, activities and lobbying efforts; the Beltug Blockchain Task Force which acts as a special interest group, providing a platform for experts to exchange experiences and best practices in the area of ledger- and blockchain technology; or their SAM (Software Asset Management) Task Force, which brings people (users only!) involved in software asset management, software procurement, vendor management, etc. together to exchange experiences and best practices.
